How Oddschecker Migrated to Google Cloud

March 1, 2019

Oddschecker, an odds comparison website processing between 500 and 600 odds updates per second, worked with Claranet to migrate their infrastructure from a single data centre to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They wanted to move all of their infrastructure within 12 months, but also wanted to utilise everything the cloud could offer. They relied on Claranet’s expertise in GCP, large infrastructure migrations, Kubernetes and DevOps to migrate successfully, but also train their team to use these new tools and work in a more agile way. This has not only helped reduce the time to market for new features, but has given their team the freedom to work on more interesting projects, making it an even better place to work.

Watch this on demand webinar to hear Stephen Old, Public Cloud Specialist Lead at Claranet, Matt Robinson, Head of Technology at Oddschecker and Tim Berry, GCP Practice Lead at Claranet talk more about the project and take questions from the public.
